What we're announcing
In short, we're rebranding. This means that very soon, we're changing our name to FantasyData.com. As a result, you'll notice that our logo and URL will change accordingly.
Why we're doing this
We are re-branding to remove the NFL trademark from our name. As we are an unofficial data provider, these changes will help ensure that we are not confused with the National Football League or one of their official partners. In addition, we've also spent more time in recent years gearing our services toward fantasy football, so having "fantasy" in our company name only seems natural.
How this affects you
For the most part, you won't be affected. Your NFLdata.com subscriptions will still be valid after the rebranding, and we'll continue to provide the level of service you've come to expect from us.
That said, our URL will change, and our website and developer portal may look a bit different. Our Api will remain at http://api.nfldata.apiphany.com/ through February 2014. Following the upcoming NFL season, we'll make arrangements to switch our API to a FantasyData.com URL.
Thanks everyone for your continued support!
